With female rap heavily on the rise, it comes to no surprise that we are being introduced to Warner Canada's upcoming rapper, Charmaine.

Charmaine is no stranger to the world of creativity, in fact her whole life has revolved around it. She began playing the piano at just eight years old, sang in her church choir and over the years subsequently got into dance and choreography. She continued to work relentlessly, despite going through many hardships along the way.
By the end of 2018 she was heavily engrossed in her writing and music, sending songs she had composed to an A&R rep she had met at talent show a while back, and in her words "It's been magical ever since."
In October 2020, Charmaine introduced herself to the world by releasing her debut single 'Bold' under Warner Music Canada, which was featured in the likes of Complex, Apple Music, Ebro in the Morning and many more. With her alluring and eccentric style, it was inevitable that the music scene would go crazy for her. Accumulating over one million streams on Spotify, Charmaine is most definitely one to watch as she continues to progress within the music scene.
Charmaine describes her style as quite unconventional, but by being that, it allows her to show the world just how comfortable she is, being herself. She constantly encourages all women from all walks of to follow in her footsteps. To feel strong and independent. Just by watching the music video for Bold, it is clear that she is no one but herself! Jam packed with vibrant colours and boisterous fashion statements, she just can not be missed.
